The Visual Message
Launching a debut album was no easy task, especially as an independent band. 1000 Generations recognized that the majority of their listeners were unfamiliar with their music and so the album had to sell itself solely on visual appeal.
Drawing primarily on their music for inspiration, I developed cover art with strong organic connections to the tracks on the album, as well as multiple touch-points for the listeners. The result was a unified statement, expressed through song and image that, although new, felt familiar and close-to-heart.

Launching an Independent Music Professional
When a fresh-out-of-college music graduate decided to begin teaching professionally, she recognized the benefit of positioning herself as a reputable and successful piano instructor among her more seasoned competition.
I worked with her to develop a distinguished, captivating identity that embodies her fun yet sophisticated personality and teaching style.
A Gerardot & Co. Project.
It’s all about working hand-in-hand…
uncovering your most marketable distinctives and attributes, then utilizing them to engage your audience through creative print and interactive solutions.
At the root of my work lies a passion for collaborative thinking. Strong ideas are never conceived in a vacuum, but are best realized when we partner together to uncover the most effective ways to meet your business goals.
I offer a broad range of services including brand identity and logo design, web site design and print design. From the tactile brochure, to the dynamic interactive web site, down to the solid first impression your logo makes as you hand a client your card, I work with you to ensure that all of these touch-points deliver a strong, consistent and engaging message. Your message.
design, development & riding wheelies
I’m a true problem solver, and intimately involved with all aspects of developing brands and websites from conception to implementation. If there’s a way to do something, I’ll find it. If there isn’t a way, I’ll make one. It’s the kind of creative, critical thinking that can’t be taught.
Prior to my stint with the Gerardot team, I worked with Indiana Wesleyan University, the largest private institution in the state of Indiana. There I gained crucial experience in web design and development as the university’s principal web designer.
I earned my Bachelors at Anderson University with a major in Visual Communication Design. I love anything hand-crafted, and I’m especially proud of myself when I can deliver highly creative design solutions using minimal resources.
I’ve got some stuff to say…
I just haven’t said it yet. Stay tuned.
